These terms are the agreement between you and Full Send Technologies Private Limited ("Shocase", "we", "us"), Innov8, 4th Floor, Unit No. 1–2, Kalpataru Prime, Plot No. D3, Wagle Industrial Estate, Thane, Maharashtra 400604, India, for the Shocase service: this website, the app at app.shocase.ai, the Shocase Chrome extension, the Shocase Recorder desktop app, and the pages, videos and demos you publish with them.
By creating an account or using Shocase, you accept these terms. If you are accepting them for a company, you confirm you may do so on its behalf, and "you" means that company. How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.
What Shocase does
You record your product, or upload a file. Shocase edits the recording, writes narration, transcribes and translates it, and can produce a video, a written guide, an interactive demo or a help site that you publish. Much of that work is done by the artificial-intelligence services named in the privacy policy.
Your account
You need an account, and you are responsible for what happens under it. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has them. One account belongs to one person; do not share it.
Accounts live in a workspace. Everyone in a workspace can see the content in it and the other members' names and email addresses, so invite only people who should have that access. If a workspace records the email domain of a company, someone who later signs up with an address at that domain and proves they control the mailbox can join it and see everything in it. An owner can invite people, change roles, and remove members.
What you may record and publish
This is the part that matters most, because a recording can capture more than you intend.
- Record only what you are allowed to record. You need the right to record the systems and pages you point Shocase at, and permission from the people whose voice, face, name or personal data ends up in a recording.
- Prefer test data. If you film a live system, whatever is on screen is filmed. The masking described in the privacy policy helps, but it is not a guarantee.
- Voices and faces. Only clone a voice, or use a face, with that person's consent. Do not use Shocase to imitate a real person in a way that could mislead anyone.
- Nothing illegal or harmful. No content that is unlawful, that infringes someone's rights, that harasses anyone, or that you are not allowed to share.
- No abuse of the service. Do not attempt to break it, work around its limits, take it apart, resell it, or use it to attack anyone else's systems.
You are responsible for what you publish with Shocase, and for having told the people in it.
Who owns what
Your recordings, uploads and everything Shocase makes from them are yours. We claim no ownership of them.
To run the service, you give us permission to store your content and to process it — including sending the parts described in the privacy policy to the providers listed there — so that we can produce, host and publish what you ask for. That permission lasts while your content is with us and ends when you delete it.
Shocase itself — the software, the site, our name and our design — stays ours.
What the AI produces
Shocase writes narration, guides and answers automatically. That output can be wrong, incomplete or oddly worded, and similar output may be produced for other people. Read anything before you publish it. You decide what goes out, and you are responsible for it.
Nothing you make is public until you publish it. Once something is published, Shocase can republish an updated version by itself, but only if you switch that on for both the connected product and the page. A published link can be opened by anyone who has it unless you restrict it.
What it costs
Shocase is free to use at the moment. The app counts some AI work in internal units called credits, and nothing is charged for them today.
We may introduce paid plans. If we do, we will tell account holders before any charge applies, and you can stop using the service instead.
Availability, and what we promise
We work to keep Shocase running, but we do not promise it will be available at any particular time, that it will be free of faults, or that it will keep every feature it has today. Features can change or be withdrawn. The service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. The desktop recorder saves a copy of each recording on your own computer.
Stopping
You can stop using Shocase at any time and ask us to delete your account, as described in the privacy policy.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that puts the service or other customers at risk, or where we are required to. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right, and we will give you a reasonable opportunity to take copies of your content.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost revenue or lost data arising out of these terms. Our total liability for any claim relating to Shocase is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, which — while the service is free — is nil.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
You will cover us against claims brought by others that arise from content you recorded, uploaded or published with Shocase, or from your breach of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We can change these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and we will tell account holders by email before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use Shocase after that means you accept the new terms.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Thane, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any right you have to bring proceedings where you live.
